By now you've probably heard Bon Iver's new, place-centered album Bon Iver. Now his label, Jagjaguwar, has posted the lyrics to the album. When I interviewed Spencer Krug for a Progress Report years ago, he made a distinction between lyrics that worked in songs, and lyrics that worked in songs and "read well on the page." Take a look at Justin Vernon's lyrics at Jagjaguwar's website; I think "Calgary" "Wash." and "Towers" read especially well on the page (or screen).
