I’m sure this has been said, but props to the editors for doing this feature. It brought the comments section back in a major way after they became closed with the site redesign. That section was always one of my favorite parts of the old Stereogum site, so thanks Scott.

What a great week of music. Great new albums from M83, St. Vincent and now Wilco? Awesome, awesome, awesome.

People call it tension, I call it repression. I feel like she needs to let loose and get a little messy. Even the parts that are attempting to , feel rigid and overly calculated. There’s also something incredibly cold about her voice. She’s clearly a talented person and songwriter, her music just doesn’t ever hit at any emotional core. It’s like looking at everything through a window.

I was in a crabby mood this week. Sorry all. Also, IRONICALLY my handle has no correlation to a love of Radiohead. It just sounded like a username that had to be made.
