Here's a combination I didn't see coming: Veteran New Orleans rap drawler Fiend, who released three of my favorite mixtapes last year, giving a lo-fi freestyle over Washed Out's indelible chillwave jam "Feel It All Around" on the appropriately titled "Aqua Flow." And it's not like Fiend just samples the track; he straight-up raps over the entire thing, vocals and all. It sounds nice. Listen below.
