Jack White To Compose The Lone Ranger

The Associated Press reports that Jack White will score Gore Verbinski's upcoming film adaptation of The Lone Ranger, which stars Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as John Reid. It will be White's first full movie score and his first foray into original soundtrack music since his collaboration with Alicia Keys for Quantum Of Solace.
